Latest Happenings in Mark's Life.

This has been a really crazy but fun week. I am preparing for my normal job, but on top of that I'm also preparing to teach a breakout in the Arts
Conference
like I did last year. (Video in a smaller room) Handout deadline
was due this week. Also, next week I'm leading the tech team that techs a
large high school's graduation in our auditorium. I can't imagine what it
would be like to graduate in a place like this... It's a really cool way to get lots
of people that don't go to church in the doors though. This week was also the Summit TD/Producer training that we do every year so we had a couple

hundred people from every corner of the country come for a retreat of sorts

that we put on. Thursday night Stephanie and I went to Gino's East (good

Chicago Pizza) and then to Blue Man Group with all the attenders. (the WCA

paid! amazing.)
I went to BMG a

lot when I was at

Moody so it was

good to go back

and see how they

changed the show.

It was a lot of fun.

On Friday

Stephanie and I

led Round table

discussions about

what we do at the

church. That went

pretty well.

The most exciting thing- as far as work goes- for me right now is that

Delirious? is  coming to film a concert

DVD at our church and I get to run a

camera on stage for it. I have done lots

of camera for live events before, but this

is the first time that my shots will be

published on DVD- one that will be sold

around the world as Delirious? has quite

the international following!

We went to see M.I. 3 last night and

Sandy and Alan came to watch Malachy.

They said he was really good for them

so we’re happy and excited about that.

Oh, and one more thing. I talked to the

President of the WCA international

about the Global Leadership Summit and how it’s going to Moscow this year

for the first time. I told him I would like to be involved somehow and he is

going to look into it. I’d say it’s a 50-50 chance right now.

I guess that’s about it for me right now. Hope ppl actually come to read this...

Food, Folks, Fun, and Boogers!

We had a really eventful day today! First we took Malachy to the doctor to get his
shots.
He was a tough guy and only cried for like 2 seconds. Then we came home and I
watched Iowa lose to Florida. I think the game was rigged as the officials called a really
poor game. Then the next game was Notre Dame vs. Ohio State. Steph's parents were
planning on having a party at their house to watch this game and when we heard how
many people were planning on coming, and since I like to have people over anyway, we
offered to have the party at our house. It was a grand ol' time.

The food was delicious and chosen by my father-in-law

"Smoked Butt" (ham I guess)                 I won't say what my friend Marty calls this...

Notre Dame lost the game, and it was disappointing for everyone, but I think it was a
good time anyways.

In other news, Malachy learned to pick his nose today. I'm not sure who he learned this
from, but I think this is a significant milestone in the life of my son!

Hi Friends...

Been a while, eh?

Well, I just bought a new house... Yes, that's Malachy in the yard.

So that's cool, and we also bought this in black, and this.

So we've been doing too much spending, but I think we're done now.

I'm guessing no one is reading this since I haven't posted in forever. I'll just post some pictures and be done.

 Tag... You're it.

So we went out to Lord's Park today and saw none other than our friend Chad! Small world? well it is right across the street from his apartment complex... Here's some pictures we took there and some other recent ones... We Saw buffaloes and deer. One of the deer was very into bearing its teeth all the time. I'm not sure what that's about, but see below... we think he wanted food.
